2011 was a smashing year and just like everyone else in music, we’ve been working our asses off. We’re closing it out with a video to “Candy Wolf” from our latest album, The Shark & The Helicopter.

The video is in celebration of a great 2011 that has been filled with inspiring art by friends of Smokey Robotic, great collaborations, and of course, kick-ass live shows.

In the past year Smokey Robotic has performed at the CMJ Music Marathon, Irving Plaza, New York Fashion Week’s Fashion Night Out at the Red Bull Space, local favorites like GunBar, as well as New York City’s Luxurious Hudson Terrace rooftop lounge.

“Superfuturisticmusicmakingpeoplehappy” was the official song for the Movado Bold Watch campaign and Korean Hip Hop queen Yoon Mi Rae’s “Get It In” produced and featuring Smokey Robotic hit #1 on Korean music charts.

We also released “Moonpot” featuring reggae legend, Eek-A-Mouse, ”No Reality” featuring Hip Hop icon, Redman, and produced “More” off of the album The Great Debater Revisited by New York emcee, Skyzoo.

We’re not making music, we’re making planets…

An even bigger 2012 awaits with inspiring collaborations, a 5-part EP series called “Smoke Flood” and new shows/live art events all leading up to our new album(s).
